A good run today!

Achilles tendon felt just fine this morning (as it has since my last short run on Tuesday), so decided to not only run, but run a little longer. Here are the details:

- Total time: 40 minutes 12 second
- Distance: 3 miles
- Location: YMCA treadmill
- Specifics: walked at 3.5 mph for first 5 minutes, then switched to run/walk at 5mph. For the first mile, run/walk ratio was 2/1, 2nd mile 3/1, last mile 4/1, but did not change the run speed so as not to stress out the tendon.

I am not feeling any pain in the Achilles tendon as I type, a VERY good sign. May ice it later on this evening.

Needless to say, I AM THRILLED!!

    sounds great, im up to about 45 minutes of good intense walking before my foot begins to rebel, im still not convinced its fully healed, and may be never the same, but i keep doing and going and trying
you do the same!!!
