'Firm and supportive floor'

Friday, July 26, 2013

When you go to inspect a restroom one of the things we are to note is whether or not the floor is 'firm' and 'supportive'. Well, my bathroom and home is 'not firm and supportive' and this morning when I went in there to weigh myself, the scale said 'you have put on 5 pounds over night' and I said, emoticon 'No I didn't', scale said 'Yes you did.' So I picked it up, went downstairs to the tiled bathroom and voila I hadn't put on 5 lbs (I didn't look 5 lbs heavier.) but rather I've lost 1/2 a pound. So, be aware of that, you must have a 'firm and supportive floor' in order to get an accurate reading out of the scale.

I have been giving a lot of thought to what I must be doing wrong (as evidenced by 40 lb weight gain in two years.) I have decided it started with a reduction in intensity in my workouts. I had been aiming for more emoticon intensity then I took up lower intensity but I didn't really increase the duration. I am suspicious it comes down to calories in/out in this case. If I'm not working out at above 150 bpm then when I do workout, I get a lower calorie burn. So, I really have to pick, get up emoticon earlier and do this a bit longer to see a 500 calorie per day burn or increase my intensity to get back up to that number. My Polar tells me I'm burning about 250 calories per workout. I have stopped gaining weight, thats great, but now its time to turn this thing around and get that burn emoticon back up.

I am also need to switch some of my carbs emoticon out for more healthy fats emoticon and emoticon veggies. I just have got to get that coconut oil in. I bought myself some coconut emoticonmilk at Trader's the other day. I'm hoping that I like it.

I really need to get my emoticon yoga in. I just always feel too emoticon tired. But, I just need to dig deep and do it. It is so important to my sense of well being, my stress level, and my metabolism.

emoticon Burn, baby, burn!! emoticon Yoga inferno!
