I eat dessert for breakfast every morning.

You're probably thinking cake or ice cream? Today actually looks like the ingredients to a good bar recipe though.

I normally stick some frozen mixed berries in a bowl and top it with vanilla yogurt. It does taste like a good ice cream flavor. This morning I decided I wanted something different, so I mixed up a "peach cobbler". I have a nectarine (still tastes like a peach, just not as fuzzy), diced, some of my vanilla yogurt, a little cinnamon and some toasted oats. Yum!

It's really hard to not want breakfast when it always tastes so good! I know it's probably a little high in sugar, since it's flavored yogurt, but if that's all the added sugar I really have in a day, it's not that bad.

When I use the different in season fruits, that mixes up my breakfast too. I still love my morning yogurt on top of all of them, but I'm getting different good nutrients in the different colored fruits. Tomorrow I may do kiwis in my yogurt.

I look forward to my "dessert" every morning. It starts me out healthy and I love the taste. Who knew breakfast could be the favorite meal of the day?
