Our mountains are green and lush

Friday, July 26, 2013

I must say that I love this time of year in Ajijic Mexico. The rainy season is in full blown and we get a storm just about every night but then it clears for the day and the sun comes out. But the mountains get so green and lush. Beautiful.

Today I am going to hang a bulletin board in my doctor's clinic and title it "Happy Patients". I am helping my doctor with a little marketing which is a passion of mine. On this board will be photos of patients who want to tell about the wonderful services they have received. Of course my photo and sorry will go up right away as well as my Father In Laws. My doctor is excited to be having me do this. I will leave my contact information for anyone else who wants me to write their story or take their photo. It should be a positive thing to see in the waiting room.

I am also busy getting ready for Tommy Jr. and his girlfriend to arrive tomorrow. They will be here Saturday night but then they are taking a couple of day road trip but then will be back on Wednesday when two of my DH sisters arrive. So we will have a full house of guests. The good news is that I have my guests well trained and they all know to just help themselves to what they want when they want. I really don't run around making formal meals or fact mostly people want to experience the wonderful places to eat down here. so I like that as I really don't like to cook. With my diet restrictions it's even harder to cook one meal for me and another for going out will be better.

I am off to walk the dogs first this morning then go do errands and hang the board.
Hope all my sparks buddies have a terrific day!

What a wonderful idea. You know we take up a lot of time telling each other what all has gone wrong ... to have a praise board is a great idea.

Glad you are getting out and enjoying the great environment you have chosen to live in.

You are an awesome patient to help promote your Dr.! That is such a great idea! It will be very uplifting and inspiring for people to come in and see that and know they will get great service!
Oh how I love greenery -seeing the tropical forests in the mountains of Hawaii was my number one interest and hiking them was all I was interested in there (not a beach bunny -I burn in the sun- so cloudy and rainy days didn't bother me at all). Some of the rainfall they get in those mountains is unimaginable! I hope to some day see more tropical forests.
So glad you won't have to cook for your guests. I too, would prefer to sample the local cuisine if I go somewhere. From my sister's trips to Mexico, she found the locals extremely friendly and outgoing and enjoyed going to little out of the way cafe's.
Hope you have a fabulous Friday!

Show us a photo of your board... it sounds interesting! You're a special person to think of doing something like that for your Doctor.

Can you believe we haven't had any rain in July here in the NW. We really need some. What a nice thing to do for your doctor. Enjoy your day!

Have fun with your project - the medical care in Mexico is wonderful, I cannot say enough about the great care DH received after his stroke 2-1/2 years ago.
Enjoy getting ready for your company!
