Oh nutrition facts how I despise you

I just don't understand them most of the time. Today I tried to do something good by making whole wheat pancakes and turkey bacon....little did I know that the breakfast was going to be close to 600 calories. I already had a menu of what I was going to eat and this just did not fit in with that plan.

I did learn a valuable lesson...be flexible. Also just because something is whole wheat (no enriched flour so it was true) does not mean you don't have to look closely at the nutrition facts.

On to making better decisions.

    I know I often think I had a really healthy meal, and then realize it was healthy but also lots of calories, but I balance them out the next few days, just relax and do not over do it.

    I have lost 109 pounds and nothing is off limits. However moderation and tracking rule. Next time you might want to have smaller pancakes. They freeze well after they are cooked and can be popped into the toaster another time.

    my sister lost 105 pounds by walking 15000 steps a day at age 64.

i lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 61.
