I just don't understand them most of the time. Today I tried to do something good by making whole wheat pancakes and turkey bacon....little did I know that the breakfast was going to be close to 600 calories. I already had a menu of what I was going to eat and this just did not fit in with that plan.
I did learn a valuable lesson...be flexible. Also just because something is whole wheat (no enriched flour so it was true) does not mean you don't have to look closely at the nutrition facts.
On to making better decisions.
