i miss exercise...

so this cold or flu or whatever hangs on, and I have finally accepted that I just need to rest. Who knew that it would bug me so much to not be exercising?
That's a good thing I guess :) I miss it!!

But the few days I went back to the gym, well now I am worse again. So rest, rest, rest. BO-RING, as my son likes to say :)

    My children and I went through a cold/flu a few weeks ago. I could not exercise for several days, I felt like I was going to pass out. It will get better. Do what you can.

    I am suffering from allergies, so I've been staying hydrated, drinking lemon water, tea, diluted pineapple juice- try it it does help.
    When my symptoms are bad, I take a Clartin pill-actually generic called Lortadine.
    You can still exercise, just do light , not strenuous moves-use hand weights, chair exercises...feel better soon! Rest is important, but don't become a couch potato or all of your hard work will be nil & you will feel it when you start exercising again.
    I've learned that slow & easy for 10 minutes will make you feel good. Don't do anything strenuous like handstands or jumping jacks-that will give you a headache emoticon
    This what I have learned, you may feel different. Feel better soon emoticon
