I did 2 hrs of gardening yesterday before I had to take hubby in as an outpatient for surgery on his eyes. They sag down so low that (besides being baggy) cause him to tear up all the time trying to make up for the moisture loss from the lower lids hanging out. I took some photos of him as a before and after, and today they are really swollen and red I took another pic, but I won't post them until he heals up and we see a true AFTER photo so that will be at least one week. While he was in surgery I walked the perimeter of the hospital to pass the time and get some walking in as well, not being sure how long the procedure would take I walked an hour then came back to the waiting room and watched TV with the rest of the people waiting. I had another 20 minutes to wait before they called me in, to get his Rx filled and listen to the discharge orders. He of course had been NPO since midnight and it was now after 2:00 so he was starving and we hit up fast food Popeyes (yep fried food) then headed home. He is supposed to take it easy for about a week and has a followup appointment next week, interesting enough his surgeon called our house today and talked to him to see how his pain level was and in general how he was doing/feeling (pretty thorough doctor).
I went back to the front yard and knocked out another 3 hours in taming that jungle, temp is close to 100 so I'm done for the day. Time to watch some movies.
