Sorry for your loss. There are so many fears that stand between us and our daily lives being what we want them to be. It is hard but usually worth while to be able to work through them. Hopefully God can give you the courage needed to get out there. Not that it helps but I live in LA and find flying much safer the driving on any of the freeways here. Best wishes in whatever you decide!

I am very sorry to hear of your family's loss and hope everyone is doing as well as possible right now. I have always disliked flying, but keep getting on planes when the situation warrants. Stepping out of our own comfort zone for the sake of the ones we love is sometimes a part of being in a relationship. Have faith and do what is right for your family at this difficult time. Take care.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your SIL. Flying is fine. DH use to work for an airline and has flown all over the world. I have done some flying too and enjoy it. Time is limited in this case. Jesus plz give sis wisdom whether to fly or not. What ever form of transportation she uses, I pray that you will give DH and Sis journey mercies. Keep all family and friends who are travelling, to and from the funeral, safe. In Your Name Jesus I pray this amen.

emoticon for the loss of your SIL. emoticon for you and your husband. There are times that we all have something we have to do that we do not want to do. God will give you the strength to fly and who knows you might discover that you enjoy it. I agree do not sit by the window. emoticon
