Bike

Thursday, July 25, 2013

I had bought a bike prior to my 2004 car accident. So did my husband. Well that said it has hung in our garage since then un cared for and un ridden. Today I dropped off the bikes to get tuned up and they were in relatively good shape other than dirty and needing a tune up. We have a really nice biking trail in Anniston that my Niece and Nephew recently got bikes and ride. So we are hoping to ride with them sometime soon. First step tune up and get bikes checked out.

Today I ran for 32 minutes and could have gone longer but had to stop to get the bikes loaded with my husband before he left for work. Right now I am at 10507 steps for the day and if my 5:00 will get here early as I hoped I will be done in time to run the practice race this evening and on Saturday. It's not looking good at the moment as It is 4:30 and I was hoping she'd already be here. They start running at 5:30 pm. May miss today :). But it's amazing to me that I am contemplating this on a thursday after working long hours yesterday and today. Getting fit has it's advantages :)

Anniston Alabama? I am so jealous! My husband and I have been wanting to go riding there on the trails for a couple years now! There is an awesome mountain biking trail system there but every time we've been there it has been for reasons other than biking. Anyhow, Enjoy! You will have a blast and most everyone in the mountain biking community are amazing encouraging people. emoticon
