I've been toying with the idea of putting up before and after pics on my page. Well there is no after yet since I"m still in progress, but I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and putting up some before and now pics.
So, those who've read my journey and progress blogs may remember that I got serious about doing something about all this extra weight in December 2012. My hubby and I had just gone on a wonderful cruise and enjoyed it very much. I'd been exercising for a couple of months trying to get some stamina (like being able to walk a reasonable distance without dying, LOL) and on the trip, it was apparent that I could do more than just a few months before. I had not been able to lose any weight though, so my theory that it's all about the activity and not about the food was proven false. The goal on the cruise was not to gain any more, and in that I was successful.
When we got back home, I told my husband I was getting serious about doing something about the weight and that I was going back on SP, getting a nutrition plan, tracking, and cooking healthy. He was looking through the trip pictures, and came across some of us on the beach and said "OK, I'm with you". Sometimes it takes a picture to trigger the "Ah Ha moment". Recently we went on vacation in the mountains and it was lovely to be able to hike, walk, and climb any amount without being tired! We could go and do everything we used to love doing and had been missing. Here's a pic taken on a trail to a waterfall a few weeks ago:

Between the two of us, we've lost 110 pounds from December 2012 to July 2013!
Maybe one of these days I'll get the guts to put on a bathing suit and take some comparable to the worst before's.
