Day 24 - Tired?

Today's been a good day so far. I re-read Chris Powell's book last night, and feel pretty good about switching things up on Sunday. I have my eating plan all written down; now I just need to work on a grocery list. I got in my 30 minute walk at lunchtime, even though I'm a bit tired and dragging.

I've been struggling with my energy levels for the last couple of days - I even have dark circles under my eyes. I've been getting enough sleep, and I've slowed down (but not stopped) my activity levels, and I just feel like I could lay down and take a nap. If it keeps up, I'll be calling my doctor to check my thyroid again.

    Hi, I don't know you but could you be low on iron? Perhaps the adjustment in your life depleted your body even though you are eating proper nutrients. Check inside your eyelids and check if they are pale. If they are bright red you are ok. If not...you need some iron. Or it can be B vitamins especially methylcobalamin (bioavailable form of b-12). People who are hypo thyroid really struggle with absorbing this nutrient. I am on Levothyroxin so this is learned through my experience. I am not a doctor so definitely ask him/her. Great job on all that you are doing! You rock!
