It must be MY time....

Thursday, July 25, 2013

Have been doing pretty well managing my 1300 calories. Did not micro-manage my weigh ins as much as I did starting off this diet. Jumped on the scale this morning and I'm down another pound. I am .6oz away from loosing 50lbs. and 10lbs away from one-derland.

I have created a lifetime of good habits for me and my family. That makes me feel even better than loosing the weight. Loosing the weight is just the icing on the cake. I have felt sooo much healthier and more confident about myself. I can not believe how much more energy I have these days without any type of energy drink/energy pills. I think I have realized all those things just make you worse instead of better. Actually living a healthy lifestyle makes you have more energy.

I still need to make time for adding actual exercise into my weekly schedule instead of just being more active. Need to start building muscle tone so I can burn more calories naturally. Which might be easier when school starts because I am cutting my hours at work and all the classes I want to take at the gym are on the evenings when I'm typically working.

I have another follow up appointment with my Dr on August 3rd and can't wait for her to see I'm still loosing weight. I still plan on doing another round of Phentermine just to get me closer, if not, to my goal.

Here's to making it happen and finally being my time. Thank you Jesus for all you have blessed me with. emoticon

Thank you S3XYDIVASMOM. I guess I am proof that an active lifestyle can work without having to pound the gym several times a week.

I am, by nature, such a lazy sort of person that I'd be inclined to argue in favor of active lifestyle over sporadic exercise. It sounds like you've got the active lifestyle in place and the more formal program is just "icing on the cake." Good luck with all that you're doing.
