Day 602- Delicious Ambiguity
Thursday, July 25, 2013
My title came from this quote:
Some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity. - Gilda Radner
Today, I was offered and accepted an amazing new job that is a great fit for me financially and professionally. It will open so many doors in the future and I'm just so lucky to have been chosen.
It is related to this temporary position I received, out of the blue, through a temp agency.
And all I can think of is how serendipitous and wonderful life really can be.
And how this quote definitely stretches towards my own journey to a better and healthier life.
Who knows why I had to get up to 275 pounds? And who knows why I decided to tape a football game that I would be watching from the stands live? And who knows why ESPN decided to zoom in on 275 pound me?
But all those events, led me to an a-ha moment, where I never wanted to look like that again. That led me to googling "Free Weight Loss Plans" which led me straight to SparkPeople.
Which has absolutely changed my life. Every time I've had an up or down on this journey, I've questioned why it happened. But all those ups and downs happened to get me to where I am today.
I will continue to have events and moments in my life, that seem out of place, or unfortunate, or even surprisingly amazing.
But they are all happening for a reason. They are happening so that I learn to make the best of every moment.
I'm going to make today better than yesterday. And tomorrow better than today.
I hope you will too.
