New found focus

It is amazing how being able to help another on there health journey actually inspires me to become rededicated to my own journey! I thank Kiersten for allowing me to be a part of her story. This gift has allowed me to re-examine my choices and broke me free from a downward slide. I stopped after 2 days of bad eating and found my inspiration to commit to the fitness side of weight loss. Her love of running and ability to find time to run while doing the single mom thing showed me the weakness of my own excuses. If any of you find yourself slipping, do not pass up the opportunity to encourage another- it may do amazing things for you as well!

I suppose it does feel a little hypocritical to encourage one to be healthy when you are not doing it yourself. emoticon

I feel you Tiff! Have my friend Elaina join spark reminded me of all the good feelings that come along with all work and all the payoffs of sticking with healthy choices. Plus having someone on here that you have to look in the eye in real life ups the accountability quotient :-)
