Walked the dog this morning. Went and got my blood work done, since it was over a week overdue. Oops. Took a walk without the dog, then caught a ride up to my parents' house to go clean some more. Cleared out 3 more bags of trash and 2 bags of laundry. If anyone is keeping score that makes 18 bags of trash we have taken out in the past week. I can see the end though as I have been making decent progress. There is probably 4 or 5 days worth of work left to do. Spent some time with mom sorting through clothes and filled a bag for the thrift store. Hung out with dad a little, then went kayaking. It was a little chilly out on the water. I wore a dry top, but still got a little chilled. And this is the end of July? Got my credit card unblocked for international transactions, so I could pay the deposit on our kayaking trip next summer. Stopped at the outfitter and got a strap for my glasses and a new water bottle. I tend to let myself get a little dehydrated when I am out paddling, but I am trying to stop doing that. Dropped my dad's truck at the garage to get a little work done in the morning. I will pick it up again tomorrow then drive out to my parents' to do my cleaning. Then we are going kayaking at Presque Isle again. That is tentative, as Jeremy is paddling up in Buffalo tomorrow morning. So it depends on how he feels. We don't usually get home until about midnight when we go to Erie. That is pretty late. I am driving to DC with my niece next week, then going out to Ithaca to paddle the next weekend, then going to Erie for a 5k the following weekend. Gonna be busy. I didn't run today. My knees were still pretty stiff, so I figured one more days rest would be good. I am not sure if I will have time to run tomorrow, but definitely will on Friday. With the cooler temperatures today it was perfect running weather.

Anyways that is most everything that is rattling around in my brain tonight.

My dad was from Auburn. We went up there for a reunion, and it seems to me the big get together was at a cottage on Cayuga Lake. I remember how cold the water was in July, AND sinking down in the clay bottom up to my knees. I didn't think I was going to get out.

No wonder you get chilled when you kayak! It was 59 degrees here in NC yesterday. Cool air, cool water, and your counts aren't right.

I think the blood thinner meds like to have no surprises, just a boring existence, with the same amount of sleep, the same amount of leafy greens at the same time of day, and probably the same amount of water, too.

Does the doctor know what you're eating regularly? Maybe you don't need the meds anymore?

You are really working on the cleaning project. We are off next week and the goal is to go through the garage and sort it out and rearrange. Also cut up the bit workbench that runs across the back so we can us more of the space for the ATV and trailer. Just hoping the weather won;t be too hot and humid.
