so my anxiety levels have been really high the last 2 days. It comes and goes with me, kind of part of my makeup, but since I have been on this journey to a new way of life, I have been really checking in with myself more.
The last 2 days I've been high anxiety for no discernible reason. No particular events or issues to trigger it - seems to be entirely internal. Chemical, even.
Could it be because I am sick? Could it just be a hormonal/chemical fluctuation in my cycle that happens regularly, but I have never noticed before?
Things to ponder. Blogging it so I can track it down next time it happens. Getting to the bottom of things!

    That's one thing I have learned about since I began this journey is vitamins and how important that they are for a healthy system. I also learned that my thyroid was off and causing me to have lethargic days. If you haven't had a wellness check up lately, I would suggest getting one. Now if I could come up with more ways to handle those days in the winter...

    Women especially in our 40s hormonal imbalances is very common including thyroid that may bring on anxiety without any reason. Your worrying on top of the anxiety itself may make it go away by making an appointment with your Gyn. I had a similar problem and waiting it out by calculating how many times or what brings on this anxiety may not be useful for the doctor. It'll only make you wonder more about why it's happening. So, make the appointment and also ask to do a vitamin D3 test and iron deficiency test. Long story and let's just say I didn't know I was below the minimum for both as there were no symptoms. After taking both I noticed an improvement right away.

    That is a good idea. I have noticed that I have certain times of the month where I feel more anxiety than others. It will help you figure out what is going on. Hope you get better soon.
