Most of the time I love all my gizmos and gadgets. Sometimes...not so much! Today is a not so much day. I have my bank account set up to send me updates on mu balance, deposits, etc a couple of days a week. I didn't get it today. So I sent a request for my balance via text message. Nothing came back. Strange! So I texted my hubby..he didn't text me back. Very strange! So I sent my self a text from my work email (yes..you can sent a sms via email). Never got it! So I called hubby. He said he DID text me back.
What the heck? So I looked at the last text I had gotten..it was dated July 17. Really? So I went online and started looking for this texting problem. Lo and behold..it went deeper then that! I can't get any INCOMING calls to my cell phone either! I do outgoing, and when I do that, I can get the waiting text messages. But no incoming calls are getting though at all. And the last incoming call I got was July 18th. Now how did I miss THAT little fact for a week?
So anyway...after a long 45 min call to Sprint CS, all they could say was take it to a repair center. So hubby called our friend that works for Sprint here in town, and I had to get my phone to them by 6 tonight. OK..that messes up my OT for today. But then plans changed...the friend talked to the repair guys at the store and they ended up ordering me a new phone. Kind of leads one to think the one I have can't be fixed doesn't it? Catch there is it's going to take 5-7 days to get as they are back ordered.
So I have a half working phone (outgoing calls, outgoing text, Facebook and all those apps work) for the next week.
Hubby wants a new Samsung Galaxy 4S. But we're not due for an upgrade in phones for 195 more days. He's just going to have to wait, those suckers are like $700 without an upgrade credit!
Anyway...all of this messed up my schedule today. I wanted to try for 20,000 steps but I'm going to be a bit short of that. And by the time I got done with the phone this morning it was lunch time and I headed down to the gym. I had to eat my second banana before that then lunch after my workout. But that was all good. Got a nice 60 mins in on the treadmill.
Dinner was not diet friendly. Bourbon Chicken nuggets, Orange Chicken nuggets, and tater tots. Ice cream for a chaser. So I was up...sodium I'm hoping!
