Original Salmon patty - makes 6 patties
2 whole eggs
1 can boned, skinned salmon
1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 cup Italian style bread crumbs
2 cloves finely chopped garlic
cooked in a electric skillet with about 1/4 cup vegetable oil
CALORIES: 262 per pattie

My new recipe:
1 can skinned deboned salmon (you can use tuna) ~ 10 oz
2 egg whites
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 stalk finely chopped celery
1/3 cup italian style bread crumbs
Form into six patties. LIGHTLY coat a broiling pan with olive oil. Lay the patties on the broiling pan. Broil, turning once until they look done. (Remember the salmon is already cooked.)
CALORIE- 110 per pattie (That's a BIG difference I can live with.)
