On week 11 of lifting weights. I can see awesome results in my arms....I feel stronger too. My back even hurts less. The rest of me is still a work in progress. Lots of muscle but still need to lose some fat for some definition.
I have really enjoyed lifting weights. Milk jugs filled with sand, bar, dumbells, bands, and an exercise ball are working pretty well:) It is so nice to see results but also to turn on my favorite program and work out. I don't have to listen to someone on a DVD. I tend to get bored after awhile. Lifting I can do on my own at my own pace. I can stick with this!! Also 4 days a week is so doable. Even 3 days a week would work wonders. The built in cardio I get is also fantastic.
Eating.....well I have some good days and bad. Overall I have been making better choices, which is great. I am trying to stick to about 1200 calories a day. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm finding no weight loss with more calories. This seems to work well for me and I feel pretty full. Some days I need more and some less...depends on what I'm doing.
When school starts back up I want to try and prep meals on Sunday and have menus planned for the week so being busy doesn't compromise all the work I've put in. It will also help all of us be more organized!
