Circling the plug hole

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

I understand water does this in different directions according to which hemisphere you are in, but wherever you are I think we have all had that experience of a stubborn kilo of fat hanging on in there despite our best efforts.
I like to think of this as circling the plug hole on its way out.
I've got one of those at the moment.
I'd like it to get a wobble on and get gone.
But on reflection, I don't really mind. It is on its way, and will be gone soon.
To give it its due, on the principle of first on, last off, that fat has been with me for a LONG time. Easily ten years. So it is quite old fat and no wonder it is taking a bit of shifting.
Soon I'll be down to the geriatric stuff.
Have a lovely Sparky day out there!

Your image of it circling the drain is a good one.
We've all had the experience of waiting for it to finally go down.
And I think you are right -- when we get to the fat that has been with us for a while, there is a real resistance taking place.
    Gurgle away! LOL

HA HA, I love the "old" fat.

I am a geology geek and have investigated your swarm. How do you tolerate the frequent earth jiggles? One earthquake was interesting enough for me but I think I'd be a little tired of the not-so-firma terra nonsense!

Love the comparison in the title. My fat seems to flow back uphill!

Fifi, I think mine is circling the plughole too. Stalled for ages, I thought I got it moving but no... still circling. I try to think of it as practicing the life style or I get to focused on the inactivity of the scale...

BTW, old fat is always a very yellow colour, and a very yellow to me, means cowardly! So IT will slink away, girlfriend. That cowardly long time yellow fat will slink away!!
