I am so happy about yesterday, I rocked all my goals! I went to the Y and ran for 20 minutes. I was trying to think of it as a tempo run, meaning a run that is supposed to be at your "fast" pace. I wasn't pacing myself though, I was just going on how I felt. I really pushed myself for the first 10 minutes and felt like I was going really fast. The last ten minutes I got tired and had to go back to my normal pace. It was nice to do a timed run and not have to worry about counting laps.
I made the most wonderful dinner. I had bought some fresh produce at the farmer's market last weekend and I made a pan of roast veggies including red potatoes, onions, mushrooms, and peppers topped with garlic and rosemary. We also had a caprese salad (tomato, mozzarella, basil and balsamic reduction). I didn't make a protein, but we ate a boiled egg. I topped it off with a bowl of watermelon. Everything tasted like summer.
Feels good for all the wheels to be clicking again. Tonight i am going back to yoga. :) Happy wednesday!
