Getting Back on Track

I have been having a bit of a struggle these last few weeks. I participated in the Spring into Summer 5% challenge and made my 5% weight loss. But almost immediately after that I gained back a few pounds. I know that I am not supposed to let the scale control me, but it does. I have made great strides since I started Spark People last August and I want to keep moving forward. I will say this about a recent post about how exercising is easy, it is the remaining 23 hours that are tough. That is so true. Minute by minute, one baby step at at a time, I can do this.

    So true! One little step at a time. I do well with the exercise also but my eating has slipped a lot. Those other 23 hours LOL.

    HI Sandy, hon I am ALSO GUILTY of this !! Have you been tracking ur foods,, all of it that you eat???? I NEED to start to do this,, and STOP with ALL the junk food. I KNOW IT too, but I am soo Addicted emotionally with sweet food, cos of where I am emotionally,,, getting help for this though,,and should QUICKLY be ok.

Do you know why ur gaining? Is it emotionally eating or out of boredom? WE CAN BOTH be a TRUE SUCCESS !!!

NO DOUBT !!! WOOHOOOOO Sandy !! U CAN DO THIS !!

    I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel like a yo-yo with my weight going down then up, then down again. But we have to stick with it. That's the only way we can complete this weight loss journey.
