11: Whole 30 Journey

Breakfast: 2 pieces of turkey and an apple

Work 3:30-9:45

Snack at work: Small banana

Lunch: ham and turkey

Dinner: Salad with Chicken Breast

Slept from about 10:30 to 3:30. I know I have to work on that but I feel that sleeping is a much better coping method than eating. I just have to work on incorporating more exercise in my routine which would decrease the sleeping.

Still feeling down and out but not quite as intense as yesterday. I'm wondering if I am having issues right now because I took away all the foods that I would normally use for comfort. I can't just drink a Dr. Pepper or have a few chocolate bars and "feel better." I have to learn other ways to deal with things.

    Hang in there. You're doing great. I know your body may be telling you that you aren't that hungry, but you really do need to try to make sure you're eating healthy carbs (veggies/fruit), healthy fat (coconut oil, avocado, olive oil, cashews, brazil nuts, almonds), and protein, with every meal. You aren't suppose to worry about calories, so don't be afraid to eat, as long as it's real food, even starches like sweet potatoes or yams. If you're hungry eat, and if it's been over 6 hours and you aren't hungry, eat a small balanced meal anyway. It might help with your energy levels, and it definitely won't hurt.

    You body may still be working on getting rid of "junk" in it. I still think you need to eat more!!! Can you eat nuts? A protein, fruit or veggie and good fat at each meal? Are you doing the Whole 9 at all? Or are you just choosing your own whole foods. I commend you for making such awesome changes in your diet.
