Good morning Sparkers!
In my last blog I was seeking help with how/what I need to do to lose some of this baby weight (plus some!)
So I did a little more research and found this pretty cool website:
Not only does it calculate how many calories a typical person would need to consume based on the number of calories you burn while sedentary, but it does the same thing for those of us nursing mommies!
...And when I calculated it, it told me I need to eat WAYYYY MORE!
At first it kinda freaked me out. I mean, that goes against everything that we are taught, right?! But then I started thinking, wait, I get to eat MORE and lose weight? PLUS help my baby get all of the nutrients she needs!
Happy girl right here!
So I reset my tracker and plugged in all of my food for the day...and I still have 600 calories left to consume to stay in the LOWER end of the range! Looks like I need to figure out some healthy snacks! Any ideas Sparkies? What are your favorite healthy snacks?
Anywhooo, I hope everyone is having a great day! And here's to this truly being the trick to tipping the scale while nursing!
