Made it to the gym again :)

I don't know what my deal was last night, but I just slept and slept and slept. I slept until about 9:30 this morning, and I know if I had let myself lie there a little longer I could have gone back to sleep. I decided to get up (well, that's a stretch...I woke up and grabbed my laptop for a little while). After I was "up" for a little bit, I decided I'd better get my clothes on and go to the gym. As soon as I turn off my road and onto the main road, I passed my sister-in-law (the one that I don't like at all). Grr. But I kept my head high and drove on to the gym. I did the recumbent bike for 31 minutes and burned 200 calories (I did 31 minutes so that I would hit 200 calories, if that makes sense. At 30 minutes I was at 197 calories). Now I'm going to get in a hot shower and make a healthy lunch...maybe watch a movie with my favorite kid. Even though I'm not "excited" about working out, I have to admit that it feels good afterwards, and it feels much better than lugging around guilt about NOT going.

    emoticon Glad you went to the pool! What a fun place to workout with your daughter. Sorry you had to stick up for yourselves with the woman in your business. Some folks just are that way. I'm glad you called and talked with the manager. What a wonderful lesson for your daughter!     Way to go for working out! I know what its like to not be excited for the workout...I'm the same way. I get psyched up about the IDEA of working out, but then when its actually time do just go exercise, I kinda drag my feet. I don't know why, though...because once I'm working out, I love it, and I'm so proud of myself when I'm done! So I guess we just need to keep reminding ourselves of how strong and proud we are after a good workout, and just keep doing it even when we're not so motivated!
