It does matter

Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Whenever I overeat or snack on something I shouldn't, the voice in the back of my head says, "it doesn't matter". One more cookie, a pint of ice cream...eat it now because you will eat it later. It doesn't matter. Oh, evil little voice. Yes, it matters!! I don't have to eat something just because it is there. Or if I have one, I don't need six. Every bite matters.

I am a thrifty person (aka cheap!). I get not spending a dollar more than I have too...why didn't I think of calories the same way! I read a post yesterday that described eating and exercising the same way. Love it. I'll use that!

One day at a time, right?

Still hating the scale. Monday morning said in was up 3lbs. I'm trying to stay off until Friday, have a good week and see what happens. Can't live by the little numbers on the scale. (Saying it out loud kind of makes it sound true).

It matters.

Very true, don't let the scale own you, own the scale!
I found that although my weight is not coming off quickly, with my new exercising regime, the inches are!
Have you taken your measurements? If you have not I highly suggest you doing so and writing them down, then in a month take them again and see where you are :)
