The trick and the thing about lower carb life styles is not just eating a lot of protein, but rather shifting from protein centric to healthy fat centric eating. What I mean by that is focusing on healthy fats for your calories. My favorite fat sources are coconut oil and olive oil. I do like real organic cream, but its much more expensive. Coconut oil has an advantage, it is great for your thyroid. I like it in oatmeal and stir fries. Its good in baked things, but when you are watching your carbs, you won't be making too many of those.
