Day #2 - Got it done ---oh YES!!!

emoticon 1 set of each exercise Y.T. Part 1 & Part 2 - upper body - 15-20 minutes

Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening!!!

I made it to the gym yesterday, put in my 60 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. Music is amazing - it shows up right when you need that extra push to make it to the end. Reading is great too, seems sometimes the book get so good I just want to keep reading, which means keep working out.

I went home and did the bootynomics upper body workout for the arms, shoulders and upper back. I used 3# weights and only did one set of each exercise. I started out doing 2 sets and didn't think I would make it through the entire workout if I continue that. I only did part 1 and part 2, there are 3 parts but my arms were not happy at the end of part 2. I got to build some muscle that's why I started with 3# weights. I usually use 5# weights or 8# but since I typically only do 1, 2, 3 moves I can handle it. A lot of these exercises I had never done before so I started lighter. I didn't want to over do it and be too sore. So far today I don't feel any fatigue or soreness.

Today I'm going for lower body. I will go to the gym but will probably put in a little less time, depending on when I get there. Got church tonight so, may have to alter my cardio to make sure I get in my lower body workout.

I ate pretty good yesterday. Got in all of my water. Yesterday was a lighter day, not as light as I want it to be but I'm working my way there. I can relate when they say the mindset is very important to the journey to lose weight or in anything. I've been really focusing on altering my thinking this time around. Yes I still see that I'm a victim of emotional eating and eating out of boredom. I'm praying about this and trying to change that bad habit. That sweet tooth predator is still attacking me big time, but I'm working on getting over that as well.

Well that's it for me today. I plan to get my workout on, drink my water, eat healthy but a bit more today and not let anything derail me from being succcessful in everything today. No EXCUSES day #2 is active! Can I go 30 days on this journey?

    You sound energized and ready to go. I love the determination I am hearing. Keep it up! I just rebooted my program too. I will be checking in on you in the future to see how you are doing. Keep posting about your progress. You can do this.
