I stopped doing Cassey Ho's workouts ( blogilates.com
) for quite some time (between a few months to a year) because of my osteoporosis. The moves just hurt too much but now I'm recovering after the parathyroid (pt) surgery.
My pt glands had to be removed bcoz they were getting overactive and leeching calcium from my bones, which is why they hurt, especially when I'm doing mat pilates.
Currently, while I can do most of my DVD workouts, I still can't do some of Cassey's exercises! Some of her moves are super hard if you don't have strong abs. I used to have strong abs but after all that bone problems, I'm now trying to work up to my former level of ab fitness!
I was just so surprised today that moves that I could do before, I now have difficulty doing! I'm so frustrated but I know that it won't happen overnight. I just have to work up to it but I guess I'm just impatient! Arrrghhh!!!!
