What a day!

I'm exhausted. It's a good exhausted though. I ran 6.5 miles this morning.
I stopped my run at 87minutes. It was supposed to be a full 90. At 73minutes, I was struggling to stay running. I would run a block, get tired and walk half a block, over and over. I did a mental check - HR was good, breathing was okay, I wasn't too hot or cold, I was tired, but not hurting. So I decided to push. I was 10 blocks from the local police station. I decided if I ran the ENTIRE way to the police station without stopping, I would allow myself to call it done. I kept running and running.
Next thing I knew, I was at 85minutes, and the police station. I stopped running and walked a half block. I was feeling great, and decided to keep running since it was so close to finishing my running trainer.
Besides, it was laughing at me at 50-60minutes. Then at 80-90minutes, it kept saying "the number you are calling - 911 - has been changed to an unlisted number". Twisted sense of humor my running trainer has. lol
Anyhow, I started to run again, and I had shooting pain under my kneecap again. Same as a couple weeks ago. I didn't have a single pain up until then. I instantly slowed back to a walk. Walked another block. Decided to try again. Pain still there. I stopped.
I am counting that as a finished run. I didn't want to push and risk hurting my knee again, so I just walked home and got the ice bag out. I iced my knee right away. It was okay all day today. I think I did the right thing.
Then I took some of my kids swimming today. We were in the pool for 2 1/2 hours. I tracked it as swimming for 1 hour. I was in the pool the whole time, but there were times I was just watching or slowly walking through the water with the kids. So I only tracked it as 1hour of swimming.
I'm on track to burn over 4.300 calories today. Hubby took us out to Boston Pizza tonight. Had some pasta. I was able to only finish half of it.
So I'm going to have a calorie deficit of about 2.000 today, even with eating out at BP. Now to make sure I get in some more water, and lots of sleep tonight.
