Monday's aren't always so bad...

Since I only work three days a week, Monday usually isn't a big deal for me. Today is no different, except I am down a pound on the scale! Normally I wouldn't make a big deal about it but yesterday I went to a baby shower and all I wanted to do was stuff my face. I had a few egg rolls and some pulled pork, maybe 20 oz of pepsi, along with a ton of fruit. I did wake up yesterday morning and hit the gym first thing...2.56 mile walk/jog in 45 minutes (not my best time but I felt good). I had every intention on going back for a second round last night but boy was I tirrrrred. So I mostly laid around and finished some homework (working on my BSN). I had my oatmeal for breakfast, whatever I ate at the shower, and then late I ate a few bites of the turkey tenderloin I made the other day (wasn't hungry after everything I at ate the shower and all the water I downed when I got home).

I am really trying to stay positive and trying to just take things one day at a time. I have already taken the pup on a 2 mile walk around the neighborhood this morning and had my oatmeal. I am going to have some tuna with crackers as a snack once I shower and for dinner I am having scrambled eggs. Every Monday (when I am not working) my mom and I have dinner at my granpas and today he is making "breakfast" for dinner. I am headed to the pool shortly but I plan on spending most of my time in the lazy river :)
