I ran 2.5 miles with my daughters. I'll admit their pace is much slower than mine. In fact, my oldest told me that I was running "race pace" when we first started. I slowed down and kept pace with her until the end, when I sprinted to our starting point.
My IT band is complaining a bit, but it's not too bad. I'll take tomorrow off from running and then run "my pace" on Wednesday. I'm thinking running on the dirt road isn't a good idea, but I may try it again, just to see.
We had a nice warm up walk and cool down walk. I did some push ups, diamond push ups and some tricep dips to finish out the morning. I'll do abs, burpees and squats with the girls later tonight.
It's a good day!
