Choices

Whelp, I made it through yesterday! I exercised and ate in a way I am satisfied. Yay!

Today, however, has started out rough. A coworker made my work crew a huge breakfast, which I delightedly partook in. I entered it all in here on Sparkpeople and have officially consumed 1,299 calories... all before 10 AM. That is essentially my entire calorie allowance! Thus, I am left with several choices:

1. I could not eat for the rest of the day and suffer through a growling stomach.
2. I could eat low-calorie vegetables to sustain me (I still have 200 calories I could consume and stay within my calorie range).
3. I could exercise, consider that as "rewinding" my breakfast, and eat happily for the rest of the day.

I'll admit, not all of these choices are ideal, but they are running through my head. I'm definitely vetoing #1. My mood is influenced by my stomach and I want to spare those around me :) #2 seems reasonable. I get to eat, while staying low in calorie choices. I love spinach and green beans, so I think those are safe bets for the day! AND, including the exercise (#3) is important, so I'll plan to do that too. If I can burn 500 calories today through various forms of exercise, I will be happy.

I didn't make the wisest choices this morning, but that does not have to stop me from making unwise choices for the rest of the day. I can worship God with my choice to do things right for the rest of the day. He will fill me with the strength I need :)
