Another goal

Today's coach asked me to blog about a new health goal besides weight loss. I do have other health goals besides weight loss already. I've been working on trying to improve my sleep. I took the Better Sleep Challenge. It did help me improve the length of time I am able to sleep. This is an ongoing challenge for me as it still needs improvement. I have been able to stay asleep for up to five hours some nights. Since I only slept two hours at a time when I started this is a huge improvement. My doctor wants me to get to at least seven hours straight on a consistent basis. I have no trouble falling asleep, I just tend to wake up frequently for a variety of reasons all night long. So until I get my sleep under control, I'll stick with that for my extra goal.

    It's hard to do the sleep challenge, hard habits to change sometimes. I thought it helped me a lot. I hope it helps you too.....They seem to know what works for better sleep.
    The hardest part for me was just turning the tv off at the right time and rolling over and just lay there and fall sleep. I used to sleep with it on turned down low at night.
    Doing the sleep challenge a few times might be a good idea.
