Day 10 of 50!

Well my 50 day challenge is going well. So far I've lost 3lbs! I'm very excited about this considering the fact that before I started this challenge I stayed at the same weight for 4 weeks. Days 8 and 9 were good. I ate clean and resisted temptation at work. We had a food day on our unit and of course the breakroom was full of candy, doughnuts, chips, dips, and blah blah. Not a single vegetable lol. But I stayed away from it and I'm very proud of myself for that. Day 8 I stuck to my original plan of 30 minutes cardio (I walked at 15% incline 3mph) and 30 minutes abs/back. My abs are still sore. Day 9 I didn't do the original workout I had planned but I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes walking at 10% incline 4mph.
Today I did a kick butt outside workout. My friend and I ran for 15 minutes to the McKinley Monument, did the steps 6 times (that's 600 steps up and 600 down total) and then walked 1.5 miles. After that we did some squats/lunges/etc for ST our legs. That was all after I got done working a 12 hour night shift.. needless to say I'm exhausted and I'll be passing out very soon. I already have my meals planned out for the day. Post workout I had some fresh strawberries and blue berries and a string cheese. Lunch when I wake up will be baked salmon, rice, and veggies. Dinner is steak with steamed broccoli and carrots.
This week I really really really want to focus on my running. The farthest I've ever gone without stopping is 2.7 miles. I wanna go 3. I am so determined to meet my goal of a 5k this year. So I'm gonna be running at least 3 times this week.
Ok I'm so tired. Off to bed I go!
