I recently took a trip to Ithaca, NY with my family and, while there (during this HEAT, ugh!) we kept moving *all* day and some most of the evenings. We only hiked through one small gorge, BUT...we all went up the Cornell Clocktower (161 steps). All of that activity demanded more caloric intake (HUNGRY! HUNGRY!), so, we ate (not overate) healthy portions of absolutely healthy food. When I came back from those 4 days of traveling, I weighed TEN pounds more than usual: 261lbs. I couldn't bear to put it on the tracker and this is the first time I'm talking about it. But then, within days, my weight started going back down. I re-incorporated *moderate* exercise (1), ate breakfast closer to the right time (2), stopped late-night snacking (3), and have continued weaning off of a weight-gain drug called seroquel--which I never needed in the first place!
Today, for the first time in MONTHS, my scale said a number LESS THAN 250lbs! And it's not much below---it's 249.4, but it's below.
I had planned on going to the Y to swim today, but instead I need to go on a road-trip to pick up my son from camp (5 hrs total driving, but other life-stuff), then again on Wednesday drop him back off at camp. I'm hoping that that time won't be a setback.
But....there's my good news about one of my heath stats~!
Checking in on the others:
~ weight: 249.4
~ took 175mcg synthroid @ 9:07am
~ took 2 puffs of flovent
~ blood sugar: 119
On to breakfast and a rather full day.
