I haven't been on my spark page in over a year. I have been losing weight though. I'm at 60 pounds now. For the last month though I have been at a standstill gaining and losing the same couple of pounds. I decided to come back to sparkpeople to hopefully get my motivation back.
In the last year I did my first 5k. It was absolutely awesome I can't wait to do another one. I was on such a high when I finished it was great. I did the biggest loser run/walk 5k. I walked it in 50 minutes and my goal is to do another but run it in less then 45 minutes. I bought a treadmill to help with my training. I love it. I have been doing that or a Jillian Michaels workout or one of the firm express workouts. My stamina has definitely increased in the last year.
These last few weeks have been difficult. My husband started a new job and I'm not able to go to my regular meeting I have to fit them in where I can. So I am taking it day by day and trying to eat healthier but am not doing very well. I really need to start planning better and making sure when I go grocery shopping I don't bring any junk into the house because if its here I will choose that over anything healthy and I have no self-control I will eat it till its gone. I have to make sure to get some snacks for the girls that I won't eat like graham crackers. I really don't like those things.
hopefully sparkpeople is what I need to get out of my rut and back on track
