We just had thre of our gks (3,8,10) here for four days. Since we are now in a condo with neighbors very near, I made lots of plans to be away. Here's what was included...
Day1: kids arrived at 6 a,m.,Einstein's breakfast, library, train, Johnny Rockets lunch, summer/school clothes shopping for all of them, splash pad, nap for little one while boys read and watched movie, dinner here, face painting before going to nearby AAA Baseball game until pretty late
Day 2: breakfast here, Let's Make. deal game with lots of envelopes, boxes and bags ( I think they liked grandma's creativity), park, games, rest for little one,movies here, lunch here, evening run in another park for older one, feeding lots of ducks, lots of park play to wear them out after Italian dinner at Brio, here for ice cream sundae bar- fun and yum!
Day 3: breakfast here, zoo, lunch at Corner Bakery Cafe, Museum of Natural History until they kicked us out to close at 5 pm., walk to mall for food court dinner, evening games, watermelon and root beer floats and movies
Day 4: Breakfast here, park for tennis, here for snacks, some packing of their things, off to movie (Turbo), splash pad, toy store,lunch at Appleby's, here for another game, up to our roof garden to now bubbles, finish packing and picked up at 5:30 p.m.
Exhausting, but so much fun. The little one outgrew her little fold out sofa that made into little mattress with attached sleeping bag of sorts. So, we had gotten her a Disney toddler bed and bedding. She loved it and slept very well while here this time...hooray
I was pretty careful with food choices so didn't gain any weight...double hooray!
