It seems with a little practice I've made a good habit of daily exercise and healthy food choices. Well, that is, at least on the weekdays. Somehow on the weekends I still have the mentality that I'm "off" and when Saturday comes around no matter how much I tell myself I'm going to keep on my regimen, I don't.
This weekend's motivation from other SparkPeople members really caught my attention and gave me the impetus to create a motivational board of sorts of my own. I scoured my resources and came up with my own three steps for success and here they are:
1. Strive for progress not perfection
2. Keep going and I will not regret it
3. I most absolutely have the power to change
That makes my mantra: Strive, Keep going and I will Change. As a matter of fact, I'm already changing. When I got finished with this project I felt so excited I got right off the computer, popped in a tape and exercised. Plus I made my healthy food choices albeit
I think this is a great exercise for everyone to do. Make your own motivational or vision board. Get your own mantra. We got the POWER!
