I was talking to a dear friend yesterday and realized that I have what my grandma would call a bugaboo in my ear. In otherwords I have something I can't let go of and I need to do so. I have this lack of motivation that comes and goes. One week it is all 'yahoo let's go' and the next it is 'why am I even going to bother?' So in order to get that bugaboo gone I need to find ways to self motivate that don't require a LOT of time. With the upcoming fundraiser, making necklaces for an order for my side business, and trying to mentally prepare the entire family for Sophia's upcoming medical procedures I don't have time to do some major motivation or some major activity. This week I think I am going to take a leap of faith and find a good but inexpensive bike trailer so we can start doing some riding again. We have no way to take Sophia with us and no way to leave her behind so we have to have a simple solution. Bike trailer is the only thing I can think of that will work. Also I plan on one other leap of faith...I am going to work on getting in some strength training time. My parents got me a really nice resistance band set for Christmas the year I had Sophia and I used it for a while but she was messing with it so it got stored away. She loves to 'play' with me while I'm exercising so I think I am going to pull it back out and get my resistance band that is totally soft from my physical therapy days for her to use since she cannot really hurt herself with it. That makes something for both of us to do and it will be fun!
Here's to no more bugaboos!
