I dont enjoy working out

Sunday, July 21, 2013

I dont enjoy working out.

I enjoy not being fat. I enjoy a life without the limitations that weight put on me. And while my workout will end in a little bit, my fat was with me all the time. I'll take the momentary discomfort over those limits.

    Hear Hear!

I once read something that said something on a friend's spark page (could have been you...) like: Being fat is hard, working out is hard, choose your hard. I amended it to say: Being fat is hard 24-7. Working out is hard 1 hour a day. Choose your hard.

This has been the best thing for me - I used to lose weight well, only to gain it back when I stopped working out because I was "at goal." Now I've maintained for over a year because I FINALLY realized that working out isn't something you do to lose weight, it is something you do to stay healthy for life!

What a great perspective. I often struggle to find the motivation to work out but if I look at things in the way you have, it sure will make it easier!

True for me too. Though I do like the mood boost after a hard workout.

Whatever keeps you healthy! Workout that you may not relish, but remembering the high prize, results that you love - it works! Can't argue with success. emoticon
