First half done!

So one of the assignments for the weekend challenge is to reflect on the first half of BLC22.

Well, what I have managed to do well is track my food. I was posting my CICO daily but fell off the wagon there but AM writing down every bite and have since the get go. It is getting easier and am not only utilizing the computer but now I have the Spark app on my phone and using it. I have no excuses other than lazy if I don't. It does help me make decisions as to what I will and won't eat and where I land in the range I believe is reasonable for me.

I have also seen improvement in my exercise. Not perfect but improvement. LG and I have had mini challenges (like we used to do daily) with our step counting. Does make me want to keep pushing myself when I would otherwise say nah, not today.

I have seen more fruits and veggies which is a bonus and keep striving to do more in lieu of poor choices.

My ST isn't what I hoped for but still trying. I must be careful as I have a wrist tendon issue and won't see the hand specialist till next week so doing much with it weight wise isn't possible. Pulling weeds is strenuous if that says anything. However, I continue to do lower body as much as possible doing squats and bicycle crunches as those are 'go to' lower body/core.

As we forge into the last half of this round, I will continue to focus on what I can and where I can. I've made some progress this round on the scale as well so it is truly an incentive to keep at it. emoticon

    It's a struggle, especially the tracking but oh so worth the feeling of knowing we're doing what we can to be healthy! You're doing a great job this round of BLC!

    You are doing it!! I think tracking food is the a huge part of this journey. We can think we are eating okay and then measuring or writing down we realize what exactly we eat! Great job on working through your wrist issue. There are tons of exercises out there! emoticon

    Those are ALL good accomplishments Weezie!! I especially like how you are tracking your food and getting more consistant with that!
You are right - it will help show you what your options are in planning and will help you sta in your range.
