I have completed this program once before and I know it really works. I am using an app on my phone called Ease into 5k that I like. Before, I only ran on my treadmill which is better than nothing, but always running on my treadmill put me at a disadvantage when it came time to run outside in an actual event. This time I am starting over and I am doing all my "runs" outside. I am currently on week 3 day2. So far so good. Last week, I was visiting my family back in MS and I did all of week 2's runs while enjoying the view of the MS river as I ran along the river walk. This week, i am back home in AL and working 12 hour nights but i have still managed to complete week 3 day 1 after working all night. My husband went on that run with me at the park by my house. I make sure to go early before it gets too hot but I am still a hot, sweaty mess when I am through. It is a great feeling when I finish a run. I am looking forward to when I can run 30 minutes straight outside. Breathing properly is something I need to work on so any tips are appreciated.
