Ahhhhh...what a delightful day! I got up for my 'official' Saturday weigh in to find that another 0.4# had fallen off.
I checked my emails, then hubby and I went out to hit some garage sales.
I found a pair of crocs that Angie was looking for. They run $20 on sale; I got a pair like new for $3. The I found the coffee grinder that I was looking for- $3. I got a pair of black sandals for work (the exact pair that I have been looking all over for. They cost me....$3.
I got a folding camp table to use when I am working events. This one is not for my display items, but as a side table for me for drinks, tablet and personal items. It cost me $3.
I looked at a bunch of clothes, but in almost every circumstance, they were too big.
It was funny because at one sale, this 'thin' woman was showing some clothes to Rich, for me, and she said, "They are probably too big for her, though." That seems so odd! I did buy a suede jacket, a longer summer dress (halter style, snake skin print!) and a couple of shirt. I bought a pair of capri denims in size 12, but they are a little large.
I also bought a blender, a pitcher and a bunch of plastic containers. My most exciting purchase, though, was a Gaiam stability ball chair! I got it for
$3!! Wow! Until I started wring this blog, I didn't realize what a pattern I was on today! Anyway, these chairs run about $100, though I see that Gaiam has them now for $79.98. This one is just like new. Here is a the link to it:
We also went to brunch today (Denny's) and I got the senior classic with 1 egg, 1 sausage link, an English muffin (yum! with lots of butter!) and roasted red skins.
For dinner, I had my usual steak. I like my steaks and apparently my body does, too, because it seems like I lose well when eating them frequently.
I am excited because Molly and I are walking to church in the morning. It is a little over 6 miles, so I will get my steps in for sure! It is also over a mountain.
I guess I had better get to bed soon since we have to leave early tomorrow am. See you tomorrow evening and
