On Day 4 of my first Insanity attempt I injured my knee. Even wearing knee supports did not protect it from suffering from my excessive weight and perhaps an excessive stretching/jumping around.
Thus, I have given my knee a few days to heal and am now nearing full range of movement. By Monday I should be able to begin the program again.
One problem I am having is the food. I do not like cottage cheese so the only sources of protein I have are chicken and egg whites. Peanut butter may have a moderate amount of protein but even the reduced fat version has too much fat for me.
The Recovery Formula is actually pretty good tasting and has kept me from being sore. Perhaps going to work for 8 hours after exercising is also helping me keep from being sore but up until Day 4 I was doing great!
Anyone else have this problem and have to restart? Do you redo everything (like measurements and the fit test)?
