End of July's Goals

The heatwave definitely killed my outdoor training this past week - NO EXCUSES...just saying!

I have not ran outdoors since Monday morning. The rest of the week, I made sure to strength train, walk with Leslie, circuit train with Jillian and stretch. It was definitely out of my comfort zone since I had been so use to being outdoors; not like I was snowed in.

Anyway, I am hoping to get my groove back now that the heat wave is supposed to be gone in the morning. My eating has been okay; not the best - must confess as it is good for the soul. My water has been average and my motivation has not left just curbed! I am NOT giving up just having to switch up this last week before my emoticon emoticon

Here's the plan...
Sunday: WALK 6mi (I should be running 7mi by now but won't dwell I will start again just by walking the distance then work up to running it *again*)

Monday: STRETCH & STRENGTH TRAIN
Tuesday: REST
Wednesday: RUN 5MI
Thursday: WALK 3MI
Friday: RUN emoticon(TRIAL RUN)
Saturday: REST
Sunday: emoticon RACE emoticon emoticon emoticon

Eat better and keep on drinking more water...and definitely keep spreading the Spark!!!

    Good luck with your race! I'm working up to a 5k, but a 10k is definitely among my goals too. Sounds like you've got a great training plan. I'm sure you are going to rock it!

    Sounds like an excellent plan! No worries about that curve ball heat wave disrupting your outdoor running routine (it beez like that sometimez). Sometimes a wrench is thrown into our plans just to test how strong our commitment is. Long story short: you passed!!
    I was in the same boat with eating, there were three days last week that I didn't even bother to track (shame on me, lol). Must be something lunar/cosmic because I've been reading a lot of "in a funk" blogs about this past week...

    Anyway good luck for the upcoming week and of course for the BIG DAY! WOOHOO!
