Get it done

Saturday, July 20, 2013

"Get it done " this will be the a new thought I will keep in my mind, particularily for small taks. There are so many jobs or quick hitters as Iíve called them that donít take more than 5-15 minutes to do but I donít want to to them or am to lazy or donít have a tool or space to do it. no more of this kind of thinking, I will just write it down and try to get to it later that day. Instead of wasting time thinking about it or remembering it at in opportune time, I will just get off my butt and do it. I spend too much time saying i will do it later. i dont always procrastinate but i would like to be more inititive and just do it.

Great advice to follow. One finished project leads to wanting to get more done! Just do the task and then you do not have to worry about it later.

I've made a list of 5, 10 and 15 minute jobs so I can get up, Do It Now, feel like I've accomplished something, and then move on to something else.

I also like to alternate between stand-up and sit-down jobs on bad days. Just knowing that I can sit down and 'rest' in 5 or 10 minutes really helps.
