Busy Day and bouncing ideas around

Saturday, July 20, 2013

I know this is a little late to post a blog but i guess its better late than never! :)

So... my day has been pretty busy.

4:24 am: Alarm went off. I hit snooze. Told myself I wasn't going to go the gym. Shut alarm off.
4:25-4:29 am: Thought of how terrible I'd feel about myself if i didnt go and stick to my plan.
4:30 am: Out of bed
4:35: Out the door.
5 AM: Got to gym, worked out til 5:30'ish. Talked to owner of gym just to chit chat til about quarter to six'ish.
6:00: Home, make coffee, make breakfast, make lunch for hubby
7am-3:30: Work, pick up house a little bit after work
4:00-5:30- MUCH NEEDED NAP!!!
5:30- wake up to three texts, one from Jacob, one from friend Emily.
6:00-9:00: Olive garden and Barnes and Noble Starbucks with Emily. Good talks about weight loss and what we want our lives to be.
9:15-Now: Watch Twins game and Glee and just Chillaxing.

So yeah, I've had a busy, busy day. I was eating 1500 calories/day. I think that is causing a little deprivation. I decided I'm going to bump my calories back up to what My Fitness Pal calculated for me, which is 2260. Thats with 3x/week exercise for 30 minutes.

Yes, that calorie range is high, but so is my BMI. I think maybe by this 1500 calorie diet I'm feeling too much restriction too soon. Also, I want to make sure my body isn't storing fat by going into panic mode, if you get what i mean.

Well anyways, its been a long day and I think the boys are going to be home soon, so I better wrap this up with a couple of questions for you guys:

1. Does your life seem to be consumed with weight loss thoughts? Do you plan your life around your plan or do you plan your "diet" around life?

2. "Cheat meals" or no cheat meals?

Thats all I really have for now.

I like that after you snoozed the alarm, you woke up again and move out from the bed to the gym! What I do with my alarm in my phone is I always change the phone position so that I have to really get out from the bed to turn off the alarm and I changed the alarm tone to make sure I'm not get use to the alarm tone and not get up.

Q#1 = the thoughts of losing weight always at the back of my mind but not as top priority. So, I don't have a strict plan for my diet but I do make sure that I'm not overeating, perhaps just once a while that I just eat mindlessly, haha.

Q#2 = No cheat meals. I eat what I think good for me and enjoy the cravings once a while :D

Your 4:30 morning process sounds a lot like mine, I always hit snooze then argue with myself and finally get up. Lol. I do have cheat meals, mostly structure dieting around life but occasionally I'll have a real strong week of fitness and diet focus. Good job on being dedicated!
