The last few days, I have been in a class all day, sitting, sitting, sitting. I'm used to being active and I spend at least an hour at the gym in the morning. The instructor has been good about giving breaks, but I found myself gravitating toward the snack table. I started taking the break time to walk around the hallways for 5 or 10 minutes, just circling past the same offices. People thought I was nuts, but at least I got a little walking in and felt a little less guilty if I grabbed an extra piece of fruit from the table. (At least someone thought to get fruit instead of just cookies and other snack items!)
I am still frustrated with my stalled weight. I get a range of calories that works for a week or two, allowing me to lose a pound (maybe), and then I plateau again. I have been up one and down one for the past month or more. I realize that I am fortunate not to have gained weight, but my measurements and weight have not changed much.
I'm not giving up, and I don't stress by weighing myself daily or even weekly sometimes, but I sure could use a little movement in the right direction.
