Challenge #3 is to record the why of the equation of participating in the challenge. So, here are my whys:
Why do I want to lose weight?
-I want to feel healthy
-I want to move freely
-I don't want to be winded
-I want to enjoy life around me instead of watching others
-I want to fit in cute clothes
-I don't want to jiggle when I wiggle
-I want to be happy
Challenge #4 is listing the trigger foods in my life:
The most common situation where I reach for these foods are when I am bored. I tend to eat mindlessly when I am not aware of what I'm doing. So, one of the things I plan on incorporating this time around is mindfulness while eating.
Challenge #6 is listing the reasons/excuses on why my diet and exercise plans have not worked in the past...give 3 that is.
1) This past time was because I tried to do too much at one time. I burned out. This time around, my plate is not as full so hopefully my focus will be more on this challenge.
2) I got bored. I'm in a new place, so there are new places to explore. Also, I can't use the gym is too far away as an excuse...it is practically in my backyard!
3) It tasted too good. I didn't stick with not eating fast food. This time around I will make wiser decisions on the types of food I will put into my mouth.
